.CN Domain Fastest Growing ccTLD

The number of registrations within the Chinese country code domain .CN has recently outdone the German extension .DE, reaching 16.4 million registrations.

The .DE domain, the long-time leader on the ccTLD market, has been dethroned by the .CN extension as a result of the dynamic growth of the Chinese domain, according to Xinhuanet.com.
