Your company will become the domain holder. Please select free Trustee Service at check-out, but if you don't its not a problem. A local admin-c will be provided, but your company will be the official domain registrant/domain holder.
Yes, that's right, Oman no longer requires a local trademark, so applicants can register .om domains based on their company name, any US/international/any trademark, patents etc. The applicant just needs to demonstrate a right to the particular domain name, which could even just be through the existence of your matching domain names held in other countries. Alternatively, we can register a Trademark in a fast lane jurisdiction (2-3 days, 150 USD).
The domain name applied for cannot conflict with any registered trademark in Oman.
.COM.OM Detailed disclaimer for .OM domain names registration:
Any domain names applied for are subject to a verification by the Omani authorities. If they decide to classify a domain as "premium" the registration fee may differ and we will inform you for ultimate approval. Otherwise, you will receive a refund minus cost.
Please note that a local Trustee will be added as administrative contact even if you do not specifically select the Trustee Service at check out.
Non-transferability: Domain names are non-transferable once registered to an entity unless said entity is bought out or merges with another entity. If an entity is dissolved, the domain names owned by that entity may be reallocated.
Registering domain names in an attempt to sell them to other entities will result in all domains owned by the violating registrant being revoked immediately.
The only way to transfer a domain name from one organization to another unrelated organization is to actively delete the domain, followed by an immediate application to register. Such an operation is not guaranteed to be successful as it will be first-come-first-served once the domain has been deleted.
How to transfer domains to Web Solutions?
Required info:
- Enter the domains you wish to have transferred to Web Solutions into the box
- Fill in your name and email address
- Press Confirm. A person from Web Solutions Support will contact you, in order to process the transfer request

- If you have Auth. Codes ready, include these. If not, you can send them later
- If possible and relevant, please unlock the domains, so they are ready for transfer
