.IE regulations summary:
Non-Irish companies are asked to demonstrate intent of doing business in or with Ireland. This is normally done by submitting documentation which Web Solutions will be helpful in drafting at no additional cost. Other documentation required is a copy of the applicant company´s certificate of incorporation.
Annual domain fee: USD 250.00
DNS Service/Web forwarding is included, free of charge.
.IE full regulations:
No local company or contacts are required. Any amount of domain names can be registered, including generic strings.
Non-Irish companies are asked to demonstrate proof of (or an intent of) doing business in or with Ireland and/or Irish companies. Its relatively easy to qualify, and after that you can register as many .IE domain names as you desire.
Examples of proof of doing business in Ireland (a single item is sufficient):
- client relations in Ireland, invoices issued to Irish companies/citizens
- supplier relations, invoices coming from Irish companies
- marketing efforts related to Ireland (perhaps you have brochures or invoices for Google Ads or Facebook Ads, related to Ireland?)
- trademarks valid in Ireland. Irish or EU/Ohim trademarks are always valid, as are any WIPO trademarks that cover Ireland as jurisdiction.
- written statement from an Irish business partner, bank, lawyer, authority or similar.
- a letter of intent on company letterhead. Not a guaranteed method, but has proven successful in the past. Contact us for a free draft sample.
Simply send the relevant documentation to us, along with a copy of your company´s certificate of incorporation.

How to transfer domains to Web Solutions?
Required info:
- Enter the domains you wish to have transferred to Web Solutions into the box
- Fill in your name and email address
- Press Confirm. A person from Web Solutions Support will contact you, in order to process the transfer request
Additional information:
- If you have Auth. Codes ready, include these. If not, you can send them later
- If possible and relevant, please unlock the domains, so they are ready for transfer
