Friday 12th of March, ICANN, which governs the Internet domain name system, voted to delay a final decision on the introduction of the .XXX gTLD.
A decision however be reached as early as the next ICANN meeting in Brussels (Belgium) June 2010.
At the same meeting, decisions may also be made with regards to other proposed names such as .GAY and .GOD.
