ICANN’s New gTLD Program has been developed to promote competition and increase choices for the global Internet community. Within the Program, hundreds of new generic Top Level Domains will be introduced to the Internet.
Six more new gTLDs have recently been approved by ICANN and will soon be introduced to the Web.
Those new gTLDs include:
.OPR (Russian for “.ORG”)
.KOELN (geographic domain dedicated to the German city of Koeln)
.Vote
.Voto (Spanish for “vote”)
.Bid
.Okinawa (geographic domain dedicated to the Japanese island of Okinawa)
To express your interest in the new generic Top Level Domains, consider pre-registering domain names that suit your needs by filling in the form.
Pre-registration is easy and non-binding with Web Solutions. For more information, contact our Support Team at support@web-solutions.eu or via phone on +44 (0) 20 4571 1971.
