The UK Domain Names Authority has published procedure of the first phase for Sunrise release of 1 and 2 character domain names, as well as some already reserved domains.
Examples of names to be released:
jobs.net.uk, pro.co.uk, travel.net.uk
1-letter names: c.co.uk, c.net.uk, c.org.uk, c.me.uk
2-letter names: dj.co.uk, dj.net.uk, dj.org.uk, dj.me.uk

Release schedule:
a) First Sunrise
1st December 2010 till 17th January 2011
Only available for holders of trademarks valid in the UK. This includes EU/OHIM trademarks, as well as Madrid marks with a UK designation.
Trademarks must have been registered on or before 1st of January 2008, and must also have been put to active use prior to this date.
Applications will be validated by an officially appointed validation agent.
Auction procedure:
If there are two or more qualifying applicants for a domain name, an auction process will be held.
b) Second Sunrise
Time period TBA
For the holders of unregistered rights enforceable in the UK.
c) Landrush
Following the two Sunrises, there will be a period of open application.
