Junior System Administrator (Szczecin)

Web Solutions administers domain names on behalf of clients worldwide. We are looking for a Junior System Administrator to our development office in Szczecin.

You will be given responsibilities for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of our network, hardware, operating systems and related infrastructure. Through technical research and development, you will work to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

We expect that you have experience or good knowledge in installing, maintaining, upgrading and expanding existing system architecture. As well as planning for, monitoring and responding to service breakdowns
and other problems.

Requirements:

Higher technical education (Computer Science or related)
Knowledge of Virtualization concepts (e.g.: based on VMware, Hyper-V)
Skilled in at least one of the scripting languages (python, bash, php, etc…)
Experience in IT operating systems (Windows Server/Desktop and Linux)
Familiarity with Networking aspects (subnetting, firewalls, routing, HA)
Common network services knowledge (from administrative point of view) e.g.: Apache, IIS, Nginx, DNS, MySQL, postfix, sendmail
Problem solving skills
Hardware and software troubleshooting
Open minded
Ability to work in a team
Technology passionate
Good English language knowledge (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

Certificate CISCO CCNA or higher

You are able to work theoretically, but just as importantly you have a practical mind that value producing results within given deadlines.
