Junior System Administrator (Szczecin)

Web Solutions administers domain names on behalf of clients worldwide. We are seeking a Junior System Administrator.

You will be working with configuration, operation, maintenance and development of our network, servers and operating systems.

Requirements:

You have recently finished, or are still studying at a University level IT education. Alternatively you hold a technical diploma combined with a solid experience background.

We expect that you can demonstrate basic experience with installing and maintaining server infrastructure. As well as monitoring and responding to service breakdowns and other problems.

You are able to work theoretically, but just as importantly you have a practical mind that value producing results within given deadlines. You work just as well alone as in a team, and you are generally interested in the prospect of working with colleagues from another country.

The ideal candidate will further have:

Overall knowledge of computer hardware and understanding of protocols and network services (DNS, mail, VPN, SQL, SSL)
Some experience with Linux (any distro) including services like Apache, Nginx, PowerDNS, MySql, Postfix
Knowledge of desktops and basic skills with of Microsoft server systems
Basic knowledge in virtualization (VMware)
Good English skills
